Daily Maintenance of Medium Frequency Furnaces

Daily Inspection of the Furnace Body

1. Check the furnace body's circulating water circuit for leaks, normal water pressure, and the effectiveness of the water pressure protection system.

2. Remove iron filings, iron blocks, and slag from around the furnace body and water-cooling cables.

3. Check the starting cylinder and water-cooling cables for any abnormalities. Check all screws for signs of heat discoloration and looseness. Tighten them.

4. Check for corrosion in the furnace lining.

Daily Inspection of the Power Supply Cabinet

1. Check the power supply cabinet's circulating cooling water system for leaks, normal water pressure, and the effectiveness of the water pressure protection system. 2. Check the power cabinet for leaks and water accumulation.

3. Check all operating lights and fault indicators for normal operation.

4. Check the capacitors in the power cabinet for oil leakage and bulging.

5. Check the copper busbar connections inside the cabinet for heat or sparking.

Cooling Tower and Emergency System Daily Inspection Items:

1. Check the water level in the cooling tower spray pool and auxiliary equipment tanks for compliance.

2. Check the spray pump and fan for normal operation.

                3. Check the emergency pump for proper operation and pressure.
