
1) Durable and aesthetically pleasing, especially in large-capacity furnaces requiring a strong, rigid structure. From a safety perspective, the furnace tilting mechanism is crucial for the use of steel-shell furnaces.
2) The induction coil, with its transmitter and shielding function, reduces magnetic flux leakage. The resulting magnetic field lines in the silicon steel yoke improve thermal efficiency, increasing output and saving approximately 5%-8% in energy.
3) The furnace lid reduces heat loss and enhances equipment safety.
4) Long lifespan. Alumina oxide deteriorates more severely at high temperatures, leading to metal fatigue and reduced toughness. In the foundry industry, we often see old, worn-out furnace shells after only about a year. Steel-shell furnaces, due to their lower magnetic flux leakage, have a much longer lifespan than aluminum furnaces.
5) Superior safety performance. Steel-shell furnaces are much safer than aluminum-shell furnaces. Aluminum-shell furnaces are prone to deformation during smelting due to high temperatures and pressures, resulting in poor safety. Steel-shell furnaces utilize hydraulic tilting, ensuring safety and reliability.
