1. If the equipment is not used for a long time, the water inside must be emptied.
2. It is recommended to use polyester glycol antifreeze when using water cooling in winter daily (alcohol-based flammable products are prohibited).
Polyester grade ethylene glycol ratio table (only for reference, please refer to the supplier's instructions for actual use).
Polyethylene Glycol (wt%) | 0 | 10 | 20 | 30 | 40 | 50 |
Freezing point (℃) | 0 | -0.35 | -8 | -15 | -24 | -36 |
Precautions for the use of polyethylene glycol antifreeze:
1) Before adding ethylene glycol to the polyester level, the original circulating water in the water cooler should be drained. When adding it, do not spill it on the surface of the equipment to prevent corrosion.
2) The boiling point of polyester grade ethylene glycol is high, and during use, the main evaporation is water. You should pay attention to the water level in real time and add it in time.
3) When the water cooling system is working normally, the coolant level in the circulating water tank should be maintained at around 70%-80%, and it should not be overfilled to prevent expansion and overflow.
4)The ratio of water and ethylene glycol for polyester should consider the environmental temperature of different regions. Generally, when preparing the mixture, the freezing point should be 5°C-10°C lower than the temperature of the equipment's use location, as shown in the table above.
5) After the weather warms up, the coolant must be drained and flushed before replacing it with distilled water coolant, otherwise it is prone to pipeline corrosion and blockage.
(Polyester grade ethylene glycol is a colorless, odorless, sweet-tasting liquid with a concentration of 99.9% ethylene glycol and no impurities. ★Anything with color is not polyester grade ethylene glycol.)
